The PA Furniture Builders started to build up existing furniture manufacturers and to provide the tools necessary for new manufacturers to thrive.
The rolling hills of eastern Pennsylvania may have what you need to take your retail furniture store to the next level. This area is the home of many hardworking craftsmen along with some of the best sustainably harvested hardwoods in the world. This combination has lead to dozens of small to medium sized shops building a large selection of quality handcrafted furniture out of a wide variety of hardwood and reclaimed lumber.
The PA Furniture Builders was created to help retail stores find these craftsmen and make their beautiful American-made furniture accessible to people across the country.
Through cooperation and support the PA Furniture Builders seek to provide resources to Pennsylvania furniture manufacturers so they can thrive in an ever-changing market. We see the value in working together so we can provide our dealers with unparalleled quality and customer service.
As the market changes and low price imports and online retailers continue to grow it is increasingly important that we work together so builders and stores can thrive. That thought was at the root of our decision to form the PA Furniture Builders, and is a driving force behind the decisions we make today.
In 2019 we made the decision to host a Customer Appreciation Day to connect with our dealers and work together to build our businesses. Last year’s expo went great; buyers enjoyed the intimate and laid back environment, and noted it was a much different experience than previous shows they had been to. We held the Customer Appreciation Day for 3 years, and in 2024 we made the decision to expand into a furniture show.
The 2024 PA Furniture Show will take place on March 20th at the Solanco Fairgrounds in Lancaster County, PA. We are very excited to expand our show to new exhibitors and continue to grow the thriving furniture community in Pennsylvania. Buyers can expect the a complimentary lunch, brand new furniture designs, furniture giveaways, and more!
