PA Furniture Builders (PAFB) was created to make one thing easier: connecting the best American-made furniture manufacturers with the retailers who need them.
What began as a small group of Pennsylvania builders tackling a shipping challenge has grown into a thriving network of over 50 trusted furniture makers. Today, PAFB is the go-to resource for retailers who want to source heirloom-quality, handcrafted furniture in Pennsylvania without the frustration of endless searching or risky supplier guesses.
In the beginning, the challenge wasn’t finding great furniture, it was getting it delivered.
A few forward-thinking builders in Pennsylvania’s plain community recognized that the lack of coordinated shipping was slowing down sales, frustrating retailers, and limiting growth.
Led by Elam from Country Value and Amos from Elm Crest, both experienced furniture craftspeople, we organized a board, built relationships, and launched what would become PA Furniture Builders. Our mission quickly expanded beyond logistics.
Retailers needed an easier way to find vetted, reliable builders.
Builders needed more visibility, connections, and opportunities to grow.
PAFB was born to meet both needs.
We work with two distinct groups:
Unlike mass-market wholesalers, PA Furniture Builders is relationship-driven. Our members are vetted through industry connections, known for their craftsmanship, reliability, and commitment to quality. Together, our builders offer a full spectrum of product categories so retailers can find multiple solutions, from reclaimed wood dining tables to poly outdoor sets.
And while many of our members come from Pennsylvania’s plain community, we welcome any American-made builder who shares our values of quality, service, and trust.
Every year, the PA Furniture Show turns into a one-day hub for the region’s best in American-made craftsmanship.
Retailers from across the country make the trip to see dozens of builders unveil their newest designs, finishes, and collections before they hit the broader market. The atmosphere is casual but focused–a rare chance to talk directly with the craftspeople, discuss customization options, and secure exclusive show-only pricing. In just a single day, attendees can walk the floor, compare styles, and leave with fresh ideas and firm orders that will set their stores apart for the year ahead.
